In February some friends from London and I met in Copenhagen for a girls weekend away. We had an amazing apartment, it was freezing outside, and we hadn’t been all together in quite awhile, so we did spend a fair bit of time on the sofa inside catching up over a bottle of wine!

Some sight seeing was done too though of course, highlights for me were Nyhavn with its beautiful coloured houses reflected in the water, wandering the courtyard of Amalienborg Palace hoping to see Princess Mary (the only Australian princess, by marriage of course) and exploring Freetown Christiania, the anarchist suburb where no photos are allowed (there wasn’t a lot happening when we walked through, but it was interesting to see. The quietness may have been due to the heavy snow falling at the time).
